Patricia E. Fisher

Patricia Eva (Mikeska) Fisher, 78, of Josephine, PA passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
The daughter of Pete and Mary (Usko) Mikeska, she was born August 28, 1940 in Indiana, PA.
Mrs. Fisher loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, spending Saturdays with her daughters and sisters playing bingo, daily coffee with her best friend and sister-in-law, Mary Fisher and listening to Sunday morning polkas and watching the Pirates on television.
Surviving are six children, Nicholas Fisher (Penny) of Clymer; Pete Fisher (Connie) of Raymond, WA; Pauline Duncan (Ken) of Black Lick; Kathy Fisher, Diane Fisher and Mary Fisher all of Josephine; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mary Ann Thomas (Marv) of New Alexandria and Judy Smyers (Glenn) of Coral.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilbur “Wib” Fisher in 2007, a grandson, Andy Shirley, a brother, John Mikeska, two sisters, Dorothy Thayer and Sophie Mikeska.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Layne Mershimer officiating.
Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
