Jason C. Miller

Jason Charles Miller, 38, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
The son of Charles I. Miller and Linda J. (Sheffler) Miller Benedusi, he was born May 19, 1980 in Latrobe, PA.
Jason graduated from Derry Area High School, Class of 1998 and worked at Premium Plastics, Latrobe, PA.
He loved fishing, camping, spending time with his family and friends and watching professional wrestling on television.
Surviving are a daughter, Lauren A. Miller of Indiana; mother, Linda J. (Brett) Benedusi of Blairsville; fiancée, Jessica Fink of Latrobe and her son, Jaden Iscrupe and daughter, Kylie Iscrupe both of Latrobe; maternal grandmother, Mildred R. (Mardis) Sheffler of Blairsville; paternal grandmother, Letty (Shirley) Miller of Brush Valley; aunts and uncles, Brenda (Rev. William) McGill of Greensburg and John Daniel (Kathie) Sheffler of Derry; several other aunts and uncles and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather, Dale Sheffler in 2018; paternal grandfather, Clarence “Jim” Miller in 2017 and a cousin, Victor “Boo” Buchinsky.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with his uncle, Rev. William R. McGill officiating.
Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
