Rosalie Turnage

Rosalie (Gamble) Berger Martin Turnage, 80, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.
The daughter of Blaine and Lula Mae (Jacob) Gamble, she was born January 13, 1938 in Greensburg, PA.
Mrs. Turnage was a member of Christ Temple Ministries, Brenizer.
She had worked as a nurses’ aide at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.
She enjoyed watching her stories on television and being with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of eight years, Bryant Turnage whom she married May 22, 2010; four children, Pam Norman (John) of Jeannette; Robert Berger of Greensburg; Blaine Berger (Tracie) of West Columbia, SC and Mae Newsome (Leon) of Decatur, GA; four stepchildren, Christine McAuley (Michael) of Derry; Teresa Turnage of Blairsville; Carol Turnage of Slippery Rock and Lorrie Downs (Eric) of Blairsville; 10 grandchildren, Jordan, Ryan, Mary Ann, Navaeh, Leon V, Shannon, Jessica, Blaine, Megan and Taylor and a brother, Blaine Gamble of New Jersey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Robert Berger, Sr., second husband, Sam Martin and a granddaughter, Breanna Ray Berger.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Christ Temple Ministries, Brenizer, PA with Rev. Calvin McCoy officiating.
Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.
