Donald Blair Sharp, 79, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
The son of Edward B. and Mary Ellen (Reeger) Sharp, he was born March 6, 1939 in Clarksburg, PA.
Mr. Sharp graduated from Saltsburg High School, Class of 1957 and was a member of the Pennsylvania Farmers Association.
He lived his entire life living and working on his dairy farm in Clarksburg.
He loved hunting small game and deer and enjoyed following Pittsburgh sports teams.
Surviving are his wife of almost 62 years, Betty G. (Smith) Sharp whom he married December 28, 1957; three children, daughter, Denise Shaffor of Iselin; son, Dennis E. Sharp (Linda Fancella) of Clarksburg and daughter, Donna Kosker of Black Lick; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Richard, Nicole, Preston, Devin, Marissa and Anthony; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Fay A. Ruby (Paul) of Clarksburg and Linda Sharp of Blairsville and a stepbrother, Raymond Burrell (Marlene) of Clarksburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Amanda Shaffor, sister, Helen Porch and a nephew, David Bucco.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Cory A. Braatz
officiating.
Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA.
