Ruby A. Lisicky

Ruby Ann (O’Barto) Lisicky, 87, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Weatherwood Manor Assisted Living, Greensburg, PA.
The daughter of Frank O’Barto and Ella M. (Collins) O’Barto, she was born January 14, 1931 in Superior, Westmoreland Co., PA.
Mrs. Lisicky was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Blairsville.
She loved to cook and bake and give to her family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She liked music, dancing, going to the mall shopping, jewelry and going to Dean’s Diner and Touch of Class.
Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda Barr (William) of Pittsburgh; Monica DeCarlo of Greensburg and a son, Vince Lisicky (Cindy) of Blairsville; five grandchildren, Amanda Shirley, Rachelle Cancilla, Justin Lisicky, Jason Barr and Zachary Lisicky; four great grandchildren, Emma, Makayla, Lucy and Mason; and two sisters, Shirley Fletcher (Dave) of Derry and Donna Nagoda of Export.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vincent Lisicky on April 3, 2003, two daughters, Carole Lisicky and infant, Debra, three brothers and three sisters.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Cunkelman officiating.
Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
