Gregory A. Jasper, 52, of Montgomery Village, Maryland passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at his home.
The son of James Jasper and Barbara (Geletka) Jasper, he was born December 5, 1965 in Clarion, PA.
He graduated from Greensburg Central Catholic High School in 1984 and from St. Vincent College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He was employed in the Laboratory of Pathology at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, for 22 years.
Greg was an active member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Gaithersburg, MD.
Greg was a devoted husband, doting father, loving son and brother and dedicated employee. He enjoyed attending events at his children’s school and he loved the Pittsburgh Pirates, coffee and Pink Floyd.
He is survived by his wife, Camille; children, Mary, Kathleen & James; his mother, Barbara Jasper of Blairsville; sister, Christine (James) Botti of Sarasota, FL; brother, Eric (Wendy) Jasper of Blairsville; niece, Kylie Jasper; nephews, Jeb (Nina) Inge, Jacob Inge and Tyler Jasper, several uncles, aunts, cousins, numerous friends from St. Martin's Church and school, Cub Scout Pack 926 and the Maryland Jaycees.
He was preceded in death by his father on February 1, 2013.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Gaithersburg, MD on July 27, 2018.
