Naomi June (Harris) Sigafoes, 74, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
The daughter of William F. Harris, Sr. and Madolyn I. (Hamilton) Harris, she was born June 26, 1944 in White Twp., Indiana Co., PA.
Naomi was a very active member of the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville, where she was a Deacon, helped with Family Promise, Food Bank, Bible School and to co-ordinate dinners being served at the church. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society.
She was a very kind and giving person and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a son, William Sigafoes and wife, Daryla of Blairsville and a daughter, Connie Stutzman and husband, Robert, Sr.; five grandchildren, Eric Schrack, Heather Kuhns, Tonya Ganoe, Lisa McKinley and Noelle Laughard; 10 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Daniel R. Harris of Cochranton; four sisters, Lillian Purskowski and husband, Walter, of Meadville; Honey Jean Jones and husband, Randy of Blairsville; Verna L. Moody and husband, Paul of Harlem, GA and Alice M. Halsey of Smith, AL and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert T. Sigafoes, Sr. on February 2, 2009; son, Robert T. Sigafoes, Jr. in 1984 and three brothers, Alfred Harris, William Harris, Jr. and Charles Harris.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.
