Tascha L. Morris

Tascha LeyPriest Morris, 43, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.

The daughter of The Rev. Ronnie C. Morris, Sr. and Lavonne E. (Williams) Morris, she was born January 14, 1975 in Johnstown, PA.

Tascha was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Blairsville.

She graduated from Blairsville High School.

Tascha had worked at Blairsville High School as a cheer coach, helped coach soccer and helped as a special education aide.

She loved cooking and supporting her children’s education and sporting events.

Surviving are her three children, O’Neisha L. Clayton of Blairsville; A’Leisha L. Clayton of Blairsville and C’Jaye C. Morris of Blairsville; parents, The Rev. Ronnie C. Morris, Sr. and Lavonne E. Morris of Blairsville; six siblings, Darnell Berry of Jeannette; Charles N. Whitfield, Jr. of Baltimore, MD; Ronnie C. Morris, Jr. of Blairsville; Heron Q. “Rocky” (Cassie) Morris, of Blairsville; Trevor Magum of Johnstown and LaKesha Jeffers of Johnstown; paternal grandmother, Eula L. Morris of Johnstown; goddaughter, Kamiya McFarlin; special cousin, LaChrisha Ward and several other cousins and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ernest and Marilyn Williams and paternal grandfather, Samuel L. Morris, Sr.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, July3, at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 5, at the United Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA with Pastor Clifford Jenkins officiating.
