Margaret M. Jones

Margaret Mae (Hilty) Jones, 83, of Indiana, PA, formerly of Blairsville, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 in the Communities at Indian Haven, Indiana, PA.

The daughter of Edward R. and Carry Margaret (Adair) Hilty, she was born August 2, 1934 in Heshbon, PA.

Mrs. Jones worked for Vale Tech, Blairsville, before her retirement.

She was a member of FOE #1488 Ladies Auxiliary, Blairsville.

She enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and going to Camp Clyde.

Surviving are five children, William A. Jones III of Indiana; Gregory Jones of Indiana; Elaine Quick (Richard) of Blairsville; Connie Kerley of Indiana and Brenda Dull of Derry; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a brother, Blair Hilty of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William A. Jones II; two sons, Brian M. and Robert J. Jones; a daughter, Kerrie A. Jones; companion, Robert Sharp; two brothers, Edward and Floyd Hilty; five sisters, Betty Rice, Ida Baxter, Sue McAdams, Grace Brendlinger and Catherine Hilty; two grandsons, Gary Kerley and Alex Jones; granddaughter-in-law, Gretchen Luther and a son-in-law, Patrick Dull.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Raymond McIntire officiating.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
