Richard S. Piantine

Richard Scott Piantine, 47, of Blairsville, PA (Derry Twp.) passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his home.

The son of Richard K. and Nicole J. (Horner) Piantine, he was born May 22, 1970 in Latrobe, PA.

Richard graduated from Derry Area High School in 1988 and worked as a union carpenter for 21 years.

He was a member of Carpenters Union Local #432.

Richard was a dedicated husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Gretta L. (Beacon) Piantine whom he married March 18, 1995; a son, Michael A. Piantine of Blairsville; parents, Richard and Nicole Piantine of Bradenville; sister, Shannon Lucas (Josh) of Derry and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.
