Daniel C. Mock

Daniel Clair Mock, 25, of Latrobe, PA, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 in Hostetter, PA.

The son of Robert L. Mock and Tracey L. (Glover) Quidetto, he was born September 13, 1992 in Latrobe, PA.

Dan attended Tree of Life Assembly of God, Latrobe, PA and worked for Dainty Pastries, Latrobe, as a baker.

He graduated from Derry Area High School in 2009. He loved music and sang [i] in the school chorus, musicals and played in the band. He also played football, soccer and was on the wrestling team.

Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going to his father’s farm, his dog, Tyson and special friend, Bruno.

He loved his great grandmother, Pauline Glover, with whom he lived most of his life prior to her death in 2015.

Surviving are his father, Robert L. Mock (friend, Margaret Wilford) of Blairsville; his mother, Tracey L. Quidetto of Hostetter; two brothers, Nathan J. Quidetto of Fairmont, WV and Ronnie L. Arbogast of Blairsville; three sisters, Izabella P. Quidetto of Mt. Pleasant; Lorna J. Quidetto of Hostetter and Jessica J. Harkins (D.J.) of Saltsburg; paternal grandmother, Betty Mock of Blairsville; maternal grandparents, James and Lorna Fazekas of Mt. Pleasant; a great aunt, Mary Lou Ressler of Blairsville; special other mother, Lisa Arbogast of Blairsville; an aunt, Dana Fazekas of Mt. Pleasant and an uncle, Jerry Fazekas of Scottdale.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lewis Mock; maternal great grandparents, Clair and Pauline Glover and an uncle, Gary Mock.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Gorski officiating.
