Jenna V. Pahel

Jenna Victoria Pahel, 24, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Swissvale, PA.

The daughter of Cynthia A. (Furey) Pahel, she was born October 24, 1992 in Latrobe, PA.

Jenna graduated from Blairsville High School in 2011 and had previously worked as a cashier at the Dollar Tree.

She enjoyed video games, listening to her music, loved animals and hoped to be a veterinarian tech.

She is survived by a son, Jayden Ryder Pahel of Blairsville; mother, Cynthia A. (Furey) Pahel and stepfather, Tim Gilbert of Blairsville; sister, Jessalyn M. Pahel of Blairsville; brother, T.J. Gilbert of Blairsville; maternal grandparents, Jeff and Suzi Furey of Josephine; special friend, Chuck Ross of Blairsville and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy (Rhoades) Furey and maternal great grandparents, Irene Rhoades and Ray and Tilda Furey.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor John Johnson officiating.
