Annis (Smith) Ringler, 93, of Blairsville, PA was born May 23, 1923 and died December 22, 2016.
And in her words:
I was born in Blairsville to CLT and Katharine (King) Smith, grew up on Brown Street, graduated from Penn State, married Jack Ringler and together we raised four above average children, Polly (Blairsville), Kathy (Salida, CO), John and Bill of Washington state.
We had one grandson, David Hendrickson and two granddaughters, Samantha Noles and Kalen Steeves and five great grandsons.
Jack and I moved to several locations in the U.S. where his work as a professional engineer with Boeing took us. After his death in 2004, I returned to Blairsville.
I enjoyed some success with my paintings and made many dear friends. I thank them all, my family and loving relatives for making my life a good one.
At my request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
If desired, memorials may be made to the Shade Tree Commission Memorial Tree Fund, c/o Cis Ottie, 10 Johnson Ave., Blairsville, PA 15717
