Frank A. Brozick, Jr.

Frank Anthony Brozick, Jr., 86, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Keeper of the Flame, Blairsville, PA.

The son of Frank A. Brozick, Sr. and Stella (Sulkosky) Brozick, he was born May 13, 1930 in Bairdstown, PA.

Mr. Brozick was a member of SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville.

He worked for Blairsville Westinghouse for 37 years, retiring in 1995.

He helped to rebuild the Blairsville Diamond gazebo, was an avid gardener and he and his wife, Irma, loved to polka dance. He was also a very proud and devoted father and grandfather.

Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Irma M. (Paniale) Brozick whom he married June 10, 1950; two sons, Donald A. Brozick (Joan Ficca) of The Villages, FL and Joseph F. Brozick (Sue) of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Michael Brozick, Douglas Brozick (Lisa), Amy Brozick, John Brozick (Nicole) and Justin Brozick; one great grandson, Jack Brozick; two brothers, John Brozick (Mary Ann) of Blairsville and James Brozick of Pittsburgh and a sister, Genevieve Novak (Henry) of Greensburg and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Walter and a sister, Rose Bellisimo.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut Street, Blairsville, PA where a Wake service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Friday. Prayers of Transfer will be said in the funeral home at 9:15 A.M. Saturday followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in SS Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville, with Fr. Stephen R. Bugay as celebrant.

Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
