Phyllis A. Tripodis, 62, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.
The daughter of Alexander K. and Koula (Mitika) Tripodis, she was born January 25, 1954 in Ikaria, Greece.
Phyllis was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Black Lick, and worked for Davita as an office clerk for 25 years.
She loved to cook and enjoyed playing bingo.
Surviving are six children, Everett Tripodis, Mark Wilson, Earl Wilson Jr., Steven Wilson, Romona Wilson and Tammy Barns; two brothers, Dean Tripodis of Blairsville and Emanuel Tripodis of Scottsdale, AZ; a sister, Stammy (Bradley) Ellinger of Laport, IN; stepmother, Anna Tripodis of Laport, IN; special niece and nephews, Arianna, Alex and Tommy Tripodis and several other nieces and nephews; great nieces, Aria and Landon Cecconi and her four footed friends, Bella and Emily.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her significant other, Earl Wilson.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Services and interment will be in Fayetteville, GA.
