Harry E. Rager, Jr.

Harry Ernest Rager, Jr., 77, of Indiana, PA passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana, PA.

The son of Harry E. Rager, Sr. and Frances W. (Turk) Rager, he was born March 26, 1939 in Cokeville, PA.

Mr. Rager was a member of UE Local #506, Erie.

He worked 25 years for General Electric, Erie, retiring in 2001.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Rager of Cambridge Springs and Timothy Rager (Chris) of Leechburg; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Beverly Wiley of Iselin and Margaret Stewart of Latrobe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly (Wiley) Rager and two sons, Harry E. Rager, III and Robert Rager.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Cory A. Braatz officiating.

Interment will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery, Erie.
