Virginia R. (Flake) Dunmire Agostino, 84, of Homer City, PA passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.
The daughter of Luther and Lessie Mae (Barnes) Flake, she was born February 4, 1932 in Chalybeate, Mississippi.
Mrs. Agostino was a member of the Assembly of God, Homer City.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren, cooking for everyone, playing bingo, putting puzzles together and reading the bible.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas Dunmire and wife, Peggy of Graceton; Dale Dunmire and wife, Deann of Homer City and Douglas Dunmire and wife, Sherry of Coldwater, MS; four grandchildren, Troy Dunmire; Melanie Dunmire Bender and husband, Ben; Jessica Dunmire Bryok and husband, Lee and Kayla Dunmire; three great grandchildren, Dylan and Alexis Bender and April Bryok; two brothers, Gene Flake of Home Lake, MS and Billy Flake of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Mildred Hodges of Jackson, TN and Cloys Johnson of Largo, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy Dunmire; grandson, Douglas Glen; two brothers, Fred and Earl and five sisters, Inez, Beatrice, Catherine, Dorothy and Mary.
As per Mrs. Agostino’s wishes, there will be no visitation or memorial service.
