Adam M. Baker

Adam Matthew Baker, 22, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home.

The son of Matthew Steven Baker and Teresa Lynn (Hoke) Baker, he was born October 25, 1993 in Latrobe, PA.

Adam attended the First Baptist Church, Blairsville.

He enjoyed writing and composing music and learning to play the guitar. He loved hunting and fishing, his cat Yoda and liked weight lifting.

Surviving are his mother, Teresa L. (Hoke) Baker of Blairsville; his father, Matthew S. Baker and wife, Elinor of Latrobe; sister, Andrea Khalid and husband, Marven of Brookline; maternal grandparents, George and Dolly Hoke of Blairsville; paternal grandparents, Andy & Joan Baker of Blairsville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private visitation and a private funeral service will be held at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA with Rev. Cory A. Braatz officiating.
