Wanda L. Mcintire

Wanda Louise (Barnett) McIntire, 58, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at her home.

The daughter of Raymond F. and Barbara (Gustafson) Barnett, she was born January 25, 1958 in Bradford, PA.

Wanda attended the Free Methodist Church, Blairsville.

She worked in construction and as a caregiver.

Surviving are her husband, Dale R. “Sam” McIntire; two children, a son, Todd Shedlock (fiancée, Stacey Drewrey) of Panama City, FL; a daughter, Beth Alsippi of Homer City; two stepchildren, Jill Capitosi (Gregg) of Mattoon, IL and Samuel McIntire (Joy) of Brenizer; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; three brothers, Matthew Barnett of Blairsville; Kevin Barnett (Mary) of Brenizer and Denny Barnett (Beth) of Warren and an aunt and uncle, Deb and Ray Roquetta of Blairsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Ronnie C. Morris, Sr. officiating.

Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA.
