Jody Mcconnell

Jody McConnell, 52, of Latrobe, PA passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

The son of Vernon A. and Adelaide (Platt) McConnell, he was born March 28, 1964 in Indiana, PA.

Jody was a member of the Abundant Grace Assembly of God, Blairsville, and the Burrell Township Rod & Gun Club.

He is survived by his mother, Adelaide (Platt) McConnell of Latrobe; a sister, Darla Hullenbaugh (Arnie), Latrobe; a brother-in-law, Dennis Cornman of Clarksburg; a niece, Marie Citeroni of Homer City and a nephew, Arnie Hullenbaugh of Latrobe.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Diane Cornman; a niece, Stephanie Hartley and a great niece, Lisa Marie Weatherly.

As per Jody’s wishes, there will be no visitation or memorial service.

Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
