Joanne Gamble

Joanne (Drummond) Gamble, 76, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at her home.

The daughter of Joseph and Annabelle (Hughes) Drummond, she was born October 26, 1939 in Clarksburg, PA.

Joanne worked as a cashier for Bilo, Indiana, for 30 years, retiring in 1998.

She enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

Surviving are three children, two daughters, Pam J. Sansberry (Michael) and Melanie Glance (Robert) and a son, Bill Gamble (Sue), all of Black Lick; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who affectionally called her “MeMaw” and two brothers, John Drummond (Alma) of Hawaii and Bud Drummond of Derry.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Sarah Drummond and Mary Gaston.

As per Joanne’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.

The Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
