Melinda A. Duncan

Melinda Ann “Baby Doll” (Griffen) Duncan, 34, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016.

The daughter of Gerald L. and Constance E. (Lawson) Griffen, she was born April 14, 1982 in Indiana, PA.

Melinda was a homemaker and attended the Connect Church, Blairsville, PA.

Her family was her first priority and her goal in life was to become a cosmetologist.

Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Duncan, Sr. whom she married October 31, 2014; seven children, Issac T. Griffen of Homer City; Krista Lynn Harper of Black Lick; Jessie Lee Harper, Jr., Chariti E. Harper, Kaylee N. Harper, Abagail Rose Duncan and Robert L. Duncan, Jr. all of Punxsutawney; her parents, Jerry and Connie Griffen of Homer City; sister, Sheena Lynn “Sissy” Griffen of Homer City; two brothers, Jerry “Big Bud” Griffen, Jr. of Homer City and Shaun Wade Griffen (Courtney) of Templeton; maternal grandmother, Betty Lawson of Homer City; father-in-law, Bob Duncan of Blairsville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and two special nephews, Eli and Caleb.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Olive Stiles and Robert Glance, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Hazel Griffen and Paul Kope.

A private visitation and funeral service with Rev. Brett M. Dinger officiating will be held at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.
