Mark A. Howard

Mark Alan Howard, 58, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana, PA.

The son of Harold T. Howard, II and Sarah J. “Sally” (Guiher) Howard, he was born August 4, 1957 in Johnstown, PA.

Mark graduated from Blairsville High in 1975.

He worked with his parents at Howard’s Mobile Homes, worked for Bentley Coal Company and was co-owner of Howard Brothers Excavating.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl L. “Sherry” (Howard) Howard whom he married August 15, 1983; a daughter, Nicole M. Fritz (Jim) of Blairsville and three grandchildren, Lauren, Kaylee and Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1984 and his mother in 2016.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Thomas C. Spiker officiating.
