John S. Pavlik, Jr.

John Stephen “Tood” Pavlik, Jr., 57, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

The son of John S. Pavlik, Sr. and Evelyn I. (Ralston) Pavlik, he was born September 30, 1958 in Latrobe, PA.

Tood attended St. James Roman Catholic Church, New Alexandria, and was the owner of Pavlik Sanitation, Blairsville.

Surviving are his fiancée, Karen S. Johnson of Blairsville; daughter, Victoria Long (Mark) of Derry; son, Justin Johnson (Amanda) of Blairsville; a grandchild, Maya; two sisters, Victoria Boring (Edward) of New Florence and Evelyn Boarts (Preston) of Josephine; two nephews, Stephen Boring (Becky) of Indiana and Neal Boring of New Florence; two nieces, Heather Klingensmith (Chris) of Blairsville and Misti Boarts of Josephine; and three great-nephews, Jackson Vukman, Chet Boring, and Reagan Boring.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral Home with Stephen Boring officiating.

Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.
