G. Thomas “Tom” Jack, 73, of Export, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Golden Living Nursing Home, Murrysville, PA. The son of Harold and Helen (Bowser) Jack, he was born April 10, 1942 in Kittanning, PA. He graduated from Kittanning High School, attended Muskingum College in Ohio and graduated from Robert Morris College, Pittsburgh. Tom owned Fox’s Pizza in Blairsville and Harrison City. He was heavily involved in the community of Blairsville. He supported kids' team sports and helped to develop the concept of Diamond Days. He loved everything about cars, modern and classic, and had worked in car sales, as a manager, for McKean Cadillac, Monroeville, Smail Auto, Greensburg and Hamilton Buick, Irwin and also had worked for Coca-Cola USA. Tom enjoyed trips to the beach, especially Stone Harbor and Cape May, NJ and was a huge fan of Penn State and Steelers football. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Nancy (Schrecengost) Jack whom he married September 25, 1965; three children, Susan J. Kunselman (Allen) of Elizabethtown; Sharon Jack of Murrysville and Steven Jack (Carrie) of Export; three grandchildren, Katrina Kunselman, Ryleigh Jack and Thomas Jack and a brother, John Jack (Susan) of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Byron Powell. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blairsville Fire Dept., 51 W. Campbell St., Blairsville, PA.
