Paul E. Mcadams

Paul Eugene McAdams, 74, of Blairsville, PA (Burrell Twp.) passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home.

The son of Elijah P. and Margaret V. (Lydic) McAdams, he was born September 21, 1941 in Indiana, PA.

Mr. McAdams was a veteran of the US Army, worked for Perfetti Trucking, Blairsville, and was a member of the teamsters union.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and his dog, Lily.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Shirley A. (Cochran) McAdams whom he married on December 17, 1965; two sons, Dale E. McAdams and Timothy E. McAdams, both of Black Lick and a daughter, Cherri Martin (Robert) of Monroeville; a granddaughter, Shelby Lynn McAdams and a brother, Norman McAdams of San Diego, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John.

Private visitation and funeral services with Rev. Fred W. Craig officiating will be held at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.

Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
