Beverly J. Beckerleg

Beverly J. (Reed) Beckerleg, 71, of Derry, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at her home.

The daughter of John R. and Wilma (Austraw) Reed, she was born December 28, 1944 in Latrobe, PA.

Mrs. Beckerleg was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Latrobe.

She enjoyed crafts, quilting, gardening and canning.

Surviving are her father, John R. Reed of Deltona, FL; a daughter, Kim Pawlik (Buck) of Derry; a son, James Beckerleg (Sandy) of Fellsmere, FL; four grandchildren, Samantha Beckerleg, Nicholas Pawlik, Felicia Pawlik and Tabitha Beckerleg; a brother, George Reed (Deb) of North Huntingdon; two sisters, Connie Nicewonger (Gary) of Armagh and Georgetta Marshall of Bradenville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Reed and her husband, Harry J. “Jim” Beckerleg on August 8, 2014.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Jonathan Fehl officiating.
