Barbara L. Wyne

Barbara Louise (Meidinger) Wyne, 56, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.  The daughter of Richard W. Meidinger and T. Wendy (Marsh) Muir, she was born September 27, 1959 in Indiana, PA.  Barbara graduated from Blairsville High School and had worked at Blairsville Bilo and as a home health aide.  She was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needle work.  Surviving are her mother, Wendy (Marsh) Muir of Blairsville; four sisters, Sally Jo Pearce (Ben) of Indiana; Beth Hein (Peter) of Cokeburg; Kimberly Newcomb (Brian) of Blairsville and Kathryn Mixon of Winter Garden, FL; a brother, Ronald W. Meidinger of MI and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father; two stepfathers, Jim Harkins and Harry Muir; two cousins, Shane Marsh and Lori Bouch; maternal grandparents, Harnell and Lillian Marsh and paternal grandparents, John and Jenny Meidinger.   The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. Timothy R. Monroe officiating.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
