Carole A. (Loughry) Watkins, 70, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. The daughter of Robert B. and Florence E. (Madeira) Loughry, she was born February 19, 1945 in Greensburg, PA. Mrs. Watkins retired from First Commonwealth Bank where she worked as a teller for 17 years. She enjoyed working on the farm with her animals. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Robert W. Watkins, Sr. whom she married on March 17, 1973; two sons, Robert W. Watkins, Jr. of Marienville and James Campbell of Oneonta, NY; four grandchildren, John L. Lewis, Mark R. MacDonald, Isabella Watkins and Dakota J. Watkins; three great grandchildren, Bradley Penrose, Zachrey Penrose and Christian Penrose and a brother, Robert Loughry of Trafford. She was preceded in death by her parents; a stepdaughter, Sharon L. MacDonald; a step-granddaughter, Michelle Lewis and a step-grandson, Michael P. MacDonald, Jr. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. where a funeral service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Monday with Rev. Cory A. Braatz officiating.
