Harry Lawrence Decker, Jr., 78, of Blairsville, PA (Blacklick Twp.) passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA. The son of Harry L. Decker, Sr. and Viola (Naugle) Decker, he was born May 31, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Decker worked for Helen Mining Company, prior to his retirement, and was a member of United Mine Workers of America. He loved fly-fishing and hunting ginseng. Surviving are his wife, Vivian L. (Gordish) Decker whom he married September 16, 1958; two sons, Ronald L. Decker (Susie) of Strongstown and Christopher L. Decker of Blairsville; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Addie and Christine and two great-grandchildren, Akina Houser and Lucas Barto. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Arlene (Decker) White in 2004. As per the wishes of Mr. Decker, there will be no visitation or service.
