Ernest E. "Ernie" McCleary III, 19, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, in Burrell Twp., PA as the result of an automobile accident. The son of Ernest E. McCleary II and Samantha A. (Umbaugh) McCleary, he was born April 11, 1996 in Greensburg, PA. Ernie graduated from Blairsville High School in 2014, and worked for M.D. Cline Fabrication, Blairsville. He loved riding dirt bikes and anything in the outdoors. Surviving are his parents, Ernest E. McCleary II and Samantha McCleary of Blairsville; paternal grandparents, Ernest E. and Renee McCleary of New Alexandria and Deborah McCleary of Pittsburgh; maternal grandparents, C. LeRoy and Shirley Umbaugh of Georgetown and Knoxine Platt of Black Lick; paternal great grandparents, James & Mary Adamson of Derry; an aunt, Denise Clawson of Saltsburg; an uncle, Brian McCleary of Slickville and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother, Agnes Nolan; paternal great-great grandmother, Olga Hornock; an uncle, Butch Umbaugh and a cousin, Eric Clawson. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Stahl officiating.
