Wanda L. (Embick) Ewing, 83, of Clarksburg, PA (Conemaugh Twp.) passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her home. The daughter of Elmer W. and Alverta L. (Wolford) Embick, she was born April 5, 1932 in Loganton, Clinton Co., PA. Surviving are one son, Roger L. Ewing and his wife, Cindy of Clarksburg; three daughters, Doris J. Brown and her husband, Jeffrey of Clarksburg; Shelby A. Hill and her husband, Jonathan of Clarksburg and Beverly J. Weaver and her husband, Neal of Osterburg; 16 grandchildren, Bradley Ewing, Gregory Ewing, Lisa Ewing, Jonathan Hill, Rebecca Hill, Kwanita Hill, Andrew Brown, Kristy Waltz, Joel Brown, Giannie (Weaver) Beutman, Katie Weaver, Jared Weaver, Derrick Weaver, Cortnie Weaver, Ashlie Weaver and Marcus Weaver; six great grandchildren, Jeremy Waltz, Mackenzie Waltz, Zoey Brown, Samuel Ewing, Brady Ewing and Joshua Ewing; and a brother, Paul R. Embick of Renovo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul N. Ewing in 1998; infant son, Thomas; a daughter Lucinda; a granddaughter, Danae Ewing; a grandson, Douglas Ewing; two brothers, Levi E. Embick and Ralph W. Embick and a sister, Hazel M. Ewing. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Friday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Joseph L. Smith officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA.
