Amy Beth (Trimble) Mahkovic, 48, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA. The daughter of Ruth (Barnhart) Trimble and the late James Trimble, she was born May 26, 1967 in Pittsburgh, PA. Amy graduated from Derry Area High School in 1985 and from Seton Hill University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in business. She loved to cook and enjoyed going to car shows and races. Surviving are four daughters, Heidi N. Ramler and husband, Cory of Youngwood; Haley M. Mahkovic and friend, Joseph Koreni of Blairsville; Brittney L. Mahkovic and fiancé, Brian Ross of Blairsville and Brooke L. Mahkovic and fiancé, Trevor Shaw of Blairsville; a grandson, Aidan Tennant and a granddaughter, Mariah, to be born soon; mother, Ruth (Barnhart) Trimble and companion, Bill Petro of Blairsville; a brother, James J. Trimble and wife, Marcy of Bradenville; a brother-in-law, Thomas Stewart of Elderton and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James Trimble on March 27, 2001 and a sister, Cindy Stewart. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Monday in the funeral home with Rev. John Emeigh officiating. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
