Helen Joyce (Lintner) Leone, 81, of Latrobe, PA passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in St. Anne Home, Greensburg, PA. The daughter of W. Everett and Marjorie (Cunningham) Lintner, she was born November 25, 1933 in Altoona, PA. Helen was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church, Latrobe. She formerly owned the Tastee Freeze in Latrobe for a number of years before working at St. Anne Home, Greensburg. Surviving are a son, John B. Leone II (Deanna) of Latrobe; two daughters, Jana B. LaRose of Arvada, CO and Joette B. Bollinger (Brad) of Latrobe; five grandchildren, Tabitha LaRose, David LaRose, Cord Leone, Tyler Newborn and Ayden Leone and her beloved dog, Mountain. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Leone; a sister, Marjorie P. Troxell, a brother, David E. Lintner and a son-in-law, John P. LaRose A special thank you to the staff at St. Anne Home for the special care given to Helen. As per Helen's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville. The Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA entrusted with the arrangements.
