Jeremy Joseph Flickinger, 39, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA as the result of an automobile accident. The son of John E. and Joyce M. (Hranako) Flickinger, he was born December 6, 1975 in Latrobe, PA. Jeremy was of the catholic faith. He was a graduate of Derry Area High School in 1994 and worked for Akers National Roll, Avonmore, as a machinist. He was a member of the White House Club, Bradenville and loved hunting, fishing and golfing. Surviving are three sons, Jacob, Carson and Tanner Flickinger, all of Blairsville; his parents, John E. and Joyce M. Flickinger of Gray Station; a brother, Justin R. Flickinger (Karen) of Blairsville; a sister, Jodi Upole of Bradenville; four nephews, Damen, Evan, Ian and Aiden; a niece, Alyssa and his paternal grandparents, Ronald and Ann Lentz of Blairsville. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ruth Hranako. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Fr. Stephen R. Bugay officiating. Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
