Naomi Elaine Beatrice (Houser) Henry, 88, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA. The daughter of Merle and Isey (Piper) Houser, she was born September 11, 1926 in Livermore, PA. Naomi enjoyed many past times including shopping, cooking, planting flowers and spending time with her family especially on Sundays when they came to her home. Surviving are two sons, Ronald E. Henry of Blairsville and Louis R. Henry and wife, Dorothy J. of Blairsville; a son-in-law, Richard L. Dies of Homer City; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Polojac and Edith A'Cito, both of Jeannette and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George W. Henry in 2002; a daughter, Bernadette Dies; four brothers, Chuck, Eugene, Lloyd and Dale Houser and five sisters, Yolanda Kelly, Madeline Henderson, Ethel Houser and infant twin sisters, Lillian and Louella. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Chad Fritz officiating. Interment will be in SS Simon & Jude Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
