Irma (Libengood) Olson, 87, of Troy, OH, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at her son's residence in Springboro, OH. The daughter of Albert Arthur and Grace (Forsha) Libengood, she was born April 29, 1927 in Strangford. Irma was a graduate of Blairsville High School. She was a member of Sugar Grove Bible Church, Tipp City, OH, where she was a former pianist. Irma enjoyed volunteering at WEEC Radio Station and was a former volunteer of Operation Rebirth. She was formerly employed with Hobart Corporation, in Troy, OH. Irma is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Eric and Jisook Olson and William and Holly Olson, all of Springboro, OH; two grandchildren, Daniel and Rachael Olson; four sisters, Doris Ingram of Grand Prairie, TX; Sara (Robert) Gabelli of Blairsville; LaDonna (Robert) McCrea of Blairsville and Marilyn (Larry) Parisi of Butler and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald G. Olson on June 6, 1980; three brothers, Dale Libengood, Wayne Libengood and Albert Arthur Libengood Jr. and two sisters, Ruth Eileen Minick and Mary Libengood. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 6, 2015, at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH and on Thursday, April 9, 2015, from 9 to 11 A.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
