Catherine K."CC" (Jones) Crawford, 72, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at her home. The daughter of Andrew C. and Mary (McMeughlen) Jones, she was born May 4, 1942 in Glasgow, Scotland. Catherine worked at Blairsville Specialty Metals for 30 years before her retirement. She was a member of Blairsville BPOE #406 and FOE #1488, Blairsville, and social member of the Blairsville VFW Post #5821. She loved to read, was an avid aviation fan and Pittsburgh sports fan. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Janet Jones of New Castle, England; a nephew, Craig Jones of New Castle, England and best friend, Patty. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Debora Lupyan in 2013 and a brother, Kenneth Jones. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Jeffrey Smead officiating.
