Jon Jacob Hummel, Jr., 43 of Tamarac, FL, formerly of Blairsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in Florida. The son of Jon Jacob Hummel, Sr. and Karen E. (Lively) Hummel, he was born May 3, 1971 in Meyersdale, PA. Jon graduated from Derry Area High School in 1991 and loved working on cars and riding motorcycles. Surviving are his parents, Jon J., Sr. and Karen Hummel of Blairsville; two daughters, Karley M. and Kimberly E. Hummel, both of Latrobe; one brother, Ryan Hummel (fiancée, Angela Bonadio) of Blairsville; maternal grandmother, Sylvia Lively of Blairsville; one nephew, Ryan Lewis Bonadio and one niece, Scarlett J. Bonadio. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fred Lively, Sr. and his paternal grandparents, Jacob S. and Ruth T. Hummel. There will be no visitation. Services and interment will be private.
