B. Carol Clawson, 67, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014 in Luverne, Alabama. The daughter of William John and Ola Agnes (Butts) Clawson, she was born February 7, 1947 in Latrobe, PA. Carol graduated from Derry High School in 1967 and was a life member of the VFW Post #1989 Ladies Auxiliary, Indiana. She worked 25 years for Breeze Corp., Tunnelton, retiring in 2012. Surviving are two sisters, Barbara "Beegee" McManigle (Bill) and Kathy Senn (Charles), both of Luverne, AL; seven nieces and six nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 P.M. Tuesday at the Shoemaker funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Cory A. Braatz officiating. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
