R. Burnell Stile, 80, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA. The son of Samuel P. and Charlotte M. (Ressler) Stile, he was born May 9, 1934 in Blairsville, PA. Mr. Stile was a member of Hebron Lutheran Church and Acacia Lodge #355 F&AM, Blairsville. He was the owner of Stile Home Service, Blairsville, for 25 years before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, stock car racing and riding his Harley Davidson. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Dolores P. (Humphrey) Stile whom he married February 28, 1959; a daughter, Carla R. Young (Matthew) of Uniontown and a son, Brian R. Stile of Blairsville. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. William Schaefer officiating. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville.
