Ronald Eugene Miller, 55, of Black Lick, PA passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Beacon Ridge, Indiana, PA. The son of Ronald G. and Mary Ellen (Duncan) Miller, he was born February 3, 1959 in Indiana, PA. Ron graduated from Blairsville High School in 1977 and was a self-employed auto mechanic. He was a member of Blairsville FOE #1488 and the Black Lick Sportsmen's Club. He loved his dog, Susie, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to camp with his friends. Surviving are his mother, Mary Ellen Miller of Black Lick; a brother, Mark Miller and his wife, Peggy of Lucernemines and a sister, Tammy L. Blattenberger and her husband, Fred of Black Lick; two nephews, Brandon Blattenberger of Trafford and Eric Blattenberger and his wife, Stephanie of Homer City and a great niece, Emily Blattenberger of Trafford. He was preceded in death by his father. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor John Johnson officiating. Interment will be private.
