Raymond Donald Jones, 80, of Orlando, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at his home. The son of Paul E. and Thelma M. (Marsh) Jones, he was born August 27, 1933 in Burrell Twp., PA. Mr. Jones graduated from Blairsville High School in 1950 and moved to Florida in 1979 to work in the timber business. Surviving are three brothers, Ronald T. Jones (Arlene) of Indiana; Ted D. Jones of Blairsville and Gregg P. Jones (Kathy) of Homer City and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. As per the wishes of Mr. Jones, there will be no visitation or memorial service. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
