Joyce (Chisolm) Todd, 63, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Heritage Nursing Home, Pittsburgh, PA. The daughter of Sanford and Emma (Lewis) Chisolm, she was born May 9, 1951 in Brenizer, PA. Joyce was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Pittsburgh and graduated from Derry Area High School. She worked for Beverly Enterprises for 13 years and for the Highland Park VA Hospital as a certified nursing assistant, retiring in 2007. Surviving are her husband, Scotty Todd whom she married February 22, 1997; five daughters, Catina Chisolm of Pittsburgh; Brandy Marks of Pittsburgh; Krystal Marks of Pittsburgh; Krysta Marks (finance, Brandon Pannell) of Pittsburgh and Deanna Herndon (Fredrick) of Killeen, TX; 14 grandchildren, Eric Farrar Jr., Brandin Blair, Donyelle Austin, Dajaun Austin, Jawaun Austin, Jordan Austin, William Knight, Shakyra Knight, Toniya Bell, Jhada Wilson, Jhalynn Wilson, Christian Pannell, Jenice Pannell and Brandon Pannell, Jr.; two brothers, Raymond Chisolm of Cincinnati, OH and Sanford Chisolm of Monroeville; five sisters, Jacqueline Embry Roberson of Detroit, MI; Connie McCreary (Bernard) of Indiana; Barbara Hobbs (Claude) of Riverview, FL; Lula Sweeney of Delmont and Linda Connor (Richard) of Verona and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert N. Marks and a brother, Robert Embry. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Second Baptist Church, Blairsville, PA with Rev. Russ Whitfield officiating. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
