Douglas Craig Lee, 61, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA. The son of Myron E. and Frances L. (Ruddon) Lee, he was born September 8, 1952 in Santa Rosa, California. Mr. Lee was a member of No Walls Ministries, New Alexandria. He was a veteran of the Army and was employed by Chestnut Ridge Communication Services, Blairsville, as a telephone technician for 17 years. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren, loved fishing with his family and his job with CRCS. He also enjoyed drawing and painting. Surviving are his wife, Debra L. (Albright) Pawlik; son, Buck Pawlik (Kim) of Derry; two grandchildren, Felicia and Nick; parents, Myron and Frances Lee of Seward; seven brothers, Raymond E. Lee of Mesa, AZ; Marion Lee of Mesa, AZ; Allen Jenkins of Salemburg, NC; James Jenkins (Shirley) of Blairsville; Tim S. Lee (Ruth Ann) of Seattle, WA; David Lee (Ruth Ann) of Indiana and Ronald Lee (Jennifer) of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Nanette Perkey (Fred) of Blairsville; Myla J. Lee of Marysville, WA and Susan Olson (David) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Charlie Brownawell officiating. Interment will be in Germany Lutheran Cemetery, West Wheatfield Twp., PA. Military services will be accorded by the Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and American Legion Post #0407.
