Patricia Ann "Theresa" (McAdams) Dunmire, 74, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. The daughter of Clarence W. and Bella M. (Settlemire) McAdams, she was born November 14, 1939 in Seward, PA. Mrs. Dunmire was of the catholic faith and worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed being with her family, going to the Chestnut Hills Senior Center and watching NASCAR. Surviving is her husband, Harold G. Dunmire, Sr. whom she married December 30, 1958; five children, Harold G. Dunmire, Jr. (Lisa) of Blairsville; James E. Dunmire (Carrie) of Armagh; David A. Dunmire (Alissa) of New Alexandria; Dwayne A. Dunmire of Atlanta, GA and Tammy L. Bernardy (Mark) of Johnstown; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a step-brother, Clarence "Woody" McAdams III (Renee) of Atlanta, GA; seven sisters, Gertrude "Patty" Reed of Menifee, CA; Mary C. "Pudge" Settlemire of Wainia, HI; Daisy M. "Jackie" Reed (William) of Indiana; Yvonne E. Permacki (Gary) of Norwalk, CA; Linda L. Cushman of Happy Camp, CA; Dorothy G. "Jeanie" Meyer of Wainia, HI and Debra Bennett (Joseph) of Happy Camp, CA and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clarence and a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Grdgon. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A blessing service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home with Fr. Stephen R. Bugay officiating. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
