Netta C. (Bollinger) Libengood Varner, 69, of Latrobe, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Mountainview Specialty Care Center, Greensburg, PA. The daughter of Harvey E. and Olive (Switzer) Bollinger, she was born February 4, 1944 in Cokeville, PA. Mrs. Varner worked as a cook at the Latrobe Elks. She loved cooking, baking, working with crafts and going to bingo. Surviving are three sons, James Libengood of Derry; Fred Libengood (Terry) of Latrobe and Tim Libengood (Christine) of Greensburg; three daughters, Tammy Rose (Alvin) of Blairsville; Tanya Simoncini of Latrobe and Candy Sulkosky of New Derry; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Anna Drury of Wildwood, FL; four brothers, Lawrence Bollinger of Blairsville; George Bollinger of Harrisburg; Jay Bollinger of Latrobe and Clarence Rhea of Jefferson, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Holly Ann Colgan in 2011; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Lois Bollinger. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home with Rev. Reed Moore officiating. Interment will be private.
