Theresa "Daisy" (DeNardis) Kasperik, 97, went to heaven on January 21, 2014 while living at the Locust Grove Senior Living Center in West Mifflin, PA. She was born September 21, 1916 in Moween, PA, the daughter of Nickolas and Pearl (Piccirilli) DeNardis. Daisy was a resident of Blairsville until she was 90 and was a member of the Hebron Lutheran Church, Blairsville. She was a wonderful mother to six children. She loved gardening, reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her six children, Jo-Ann (Gene) Bevacqua, Carol (Greg) Persichetti, Nickolas (Norine) Kasperik, Donald (Patricia) Kasperik, Steve (Kathy) Kasperik and Deborah (John) Yuschak; 11 grandchildren, Melissa Sovak, Kristen Azzarello, Gregory Persichetti, Jason Kasperik, Joseph Bevacqua, Kristopher Kasperik, Marcus Persichetti, Kelly Johnson, Lori Sacco, Michael Yuschak and Theresa Seasly; 17 very active great grandchildren, Justin, Lindsey, Kaitlyn, Madison, Gabby, Emma. Blasé, Steele, Cruise, Ava, Max, Rocco, Anthony, Mia, Macy, Abby and Ayden and two sisters, Jean Neil and Phyllis Beard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joseph J. Kasperik; her parents and sisters, Lydia Binkley and Helen Malone. A memorial service will be celebrated at 5:00 P.M., Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Hebron Lutheran Church, 125 N.
