Earl Richard Foust, 71, of Murfreesboro, TN formerly of Blairsville passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at his residence. The son of Wilbert Emerson and Matilda McClarren Foust, he was born in Robinson, PA. He attended World Outreach and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca J. Foust; daughter Tammy Foust Czap Bishop (Kevin) of Murfreesboro, TN; son, Daniel Earl Foust of IL; stepson, Robert W. Gann of Murfreesboro, TN; stepdaughter, Robin M. Gwaro (Anthony) of Christiana, TN; grandchildren, Travis Czap, Tyler Czap and Zachariah Gwaro; sisters, Elene Smith of Bolivar and Kathy Sue Kinard (Ron) of Blairsville; brothers, Arnold Foust (Joan) of Bolivar and Paul Foust (Donna) of Homer City. Mr. Foust was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Emerson Lloyd Foust, Roe Leonard Foust and Leslie Lovallen Foust; sister, Doris Eva Foust; mother of his children, Darlene Elizabeth Nixon Hogue Foust and wife, Abbie Dean Cooper Foust. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 P.M. Friday at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, TN and from 4 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Shoemaker Funeral Home with Pastor Elwood Pfaunmiller officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, West Wheatfield Twp., PA. Military services will be accorded by the Blairsville VFW Post #5821 and American Legion Post #0407. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Alive Hospice or American Cancer Society.
