Diana L. (McConnell) Cornman, 59, of Clarksburg, PA passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA. A daughter of Vernon A. and Adelaide (Platt) McConnell, she was born September 28, 1954 in Latrobe, PA. Diana graduated from Blairsville High School and was a member of the First Assembly of God, Blairsville. She enjoyed camping and going to the ocean with her family. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Dennis C. Cornman, whom she married July 28, 1973; daughter, Marie D. Cornman (fiancé, Bill Citeroni) of Homer City; mother, Adelaide (Platt) McConnell of Latrobe; sister, Darla Hullenbaugh (Arnie) of Latrobe; brother, Jody McConnell of Latrobe; son-in-law, Fred Hartley (Donna) of Greensburg and numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her father; a daughter, Stephanie and a granddaughter, Lisa Marie. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Charles S. Kitner officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Lewisville, PA.
